This is what I sent to the snooty supervisor at Bed, Bath and Beyond: Hi, so after I had this call, UPS turned up on my doorstep to pick up the item. I told them that Bed Bath and Beyond said that UPS would help package this item up, and they didn't. I told them I was disabled and that Bed Bath and Beyond said that the item arriving damaged was their fault and that they would help with the packaging. That said, I had one more delivery attempt, but they wouldn't take it. Luckily, they are doing construction next door and happen to have flat boxes that we made into a box surrounding the damaged item.

I am furious that Bed Bath and Beyond gave me the wrong instructions and that this added two more weeks of stress and having my landlord threaten me with notices of leaving bulky items outside my front door. And I am furious that Bed Bath and Beyond make even disabled customers do a ton more work for the products they buy. There was nothing wrong with the money I gave to pay for the item, but the item was delayed, delayed and then arrived damaged, and the replacement is delayed.

I am going to post this response on my social media and use it to close all ties with this company. And if the replacement table arrives in the same condition, then I'm going to legal aid. You can't ask someone who's disabled to keep packing up items that weigh 110lbs / 55kg that arrived damaged. Shame on you.

Make sure the order on my side is correct with the correct number of items. Other than that, your customer service is the best by far I've had in a long time.

I will be ordering more in the future. The customer service was so polite and professional, and there was not a wait time on the phone, unlike some companies that keep you on hold forever.

Still have not gotten return slips.

I bought 2 sets of chairs. Out of that I only have one chair that fits part a and part b.

It has been over 2 weeks of runaround from the company sending photos multiple times. I just want my money back! They have tried to pay me to keep the unusable chairs. First offer was They would give me $30 then it went to $40.

Thing is I cannot use them. I just want my money back!

It sold in a package of 2 chairs

Description

Set of 2 velvet chairs, solid wood armless Cent chairs with nailhood trim an back ring pull.

I hired someone to put together first chair was fine

We got to second chair (4268****).

The last thing to go on were the DEFEctive legs. This is a safety issue

In closing in the 2nd one legs are defective . I have a picture!

Unless I take that chair apart and the second chair part and put them in a box they will not take it back so I'm out $253 plus tax and the money I paid for the warranties it is defective all I want is to send the defective chair back and receive my money back or Make or exchange for another chair

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I kept contacting them and eventually they gave me a full refund.

After Pissed Customer contact BB&B they emailed me and apologized that the return was denied. However, that's not what the BB&B customer service agent told me over the phone.

He told me to expect the return shipping label to be emailed in a few minutes.

Now they want me to unpack the bread machine and take a video to show how it's malfunctioning. It was a lot of work to pack that thing up again and I don't think I should have to go through this after I was told that I could return it.

I want to return something but it's 5 days past the 30-day return. I didn't realize I only had 30 days because BB&B used to have a much better return policy.

I called the 800 number and spoke with a rep at BB&B. At first he said I couldn't return the item but we spoke further and he was able to initiate a return. He said he would email the shipping label to me but I still have not received it.

Was he lying? Can you email me a shipping label?

User's recommendation: Know that you only have 30 days to return something. The only way to reach a human being is by calling the 800 number. Make sure you get the emailed return shipping label before you get off the phone with the agent.

I received my rug and it is damaged. Tried calling assistance number it connects to a medical alert company.

Looked online and every number is disconnected. Tried emailing it was rejected by recipients. I am very disappointed in my purchase.

You can't get in touch with any customer service for help. I will dispute with my credit card company.

Took 65 days after original order to resolve problems

Ordering Practices: There are confusing multiple options at different prices. There is no indication of long wait times for delivery due to foreign sourcing. The item cannot be cancelled because it has already been processed in the warehouse, but it remained in this status for at least 23 days. Even then, I was left to process the return of the item.

Ordering Management System: I could not initiate a return because their system did not know or reflect that the item had been delivered.

Customer Care: As someone who has taught customer service, I can find no better word to describe their service than reprehensible. I will not even address all the problems which you are no doubt aware of when they outsource customer care to foreign services. You buy into multiple problems, the least of which are communication barriers. Their representatives do not have the information, ability, or empowerment to resolve issues. I received communications from multiple unnamed and no less than 4 different named individuals, many of whom had incomplete or incorrect information about my case. There were also different case numbers given for my issue. I was informed numerous times that my issue was being elevated to our partner. This partner was never defined nor identified. No subsequent communications were labeled as coming from anyone other than Customer Care. Instead, I had to deal with the same group. This company should be greatly embarrassed that this issue could not have been dealt with in one phone call.

I ordered 2 machine washable indoor/outdoor modern floral chantile rugs 1'8"x2'6" @$29.69 sale. Also at same time ordered one 2'3" x 7'6" gray chantile rug.

The order I placed on 5/30/24. You said I'd receive these rugs by Thu,June 6. My total cost was $128.70. Here it is June 22 and I have not received my rugs.

Where are they? Shipping was free. I've ordered lots of stuff from BBB and never had a problem getting it in a few days.

I am utterly disappointed with my recent purchase from Bed Bath and Beyond/Overstock. On January 22, 2024, I ordered a vanity set, item number 42261****, expecting it to match the description provided online.

However, upon receipt, it became evident that the product does not meet my specifications or expectations. The vanity set appears more suitable for a child's room, lacking the quality and height expected for adult use. The mirror has creases and seams not evident in the online images, making it look cheap and unfinished. Despite providing visual evidence, Bed Bath and Beyond's response has been inadequate, leaving me frustrated and seeking assistance for a refund and fair compensation for the inconvenience and expenses incurred.

Their insistence on donating the item before issuing a refund, despite my physical limitations following knee surgery, is unreasonable and burdensome.

Attempts to contact them have been met with long wait times and unfulfilled promises of callbacks. I implore for assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I too have order a significant amount of items and spent my money but I find it rather odd that they could take their payment from my checking account but it's almost been a year and i haven't receive the products I ordered!,I will never shop with them again. Ordered a rug from Bed Bath and beyond, which we have ordered before and have an account. Also ordered pad.

Things went funny when we saw the charge to a name we didnt recognize. We couldnt get any tracking numbers and order didnt show up on our account! I called a couple of times trying to see if you could find my order to no avail. Did mention that maybe your site had been hacked and they were going to look into it and get back to us?

At this point I called our credit card company and filed a complaint!

Two days later a rug came by FedEx and pad later by UPS.

The box was taped very badly with clear tape with crinkles and holes in it.

When we opened the box, there was a folded rug (10X14).

Never seen one folded, always rolled.We took the rug out next day and saw right away that the print was darker at one end than the other end. Various sections are miscolored.

At this point, we want to return the rug. I suspect someone before us got the rug and noticed the same thing.

Unfortunately, we dont know who to contact.

Labels on box are Bed Bath and Beyond, Calhoun, Ga. Looks like shipping originated in Ontario, Calif.

Did find the kind of wrapping used when a rug is rolled inside of folded rug.

Please advise.

I purchased a 10x13 rug in August -by mid October it had latent defects popping out in the form of loose strands along one long section of the rug. Bed Bath and Beyond said too bad no warranty.

End of story.

Pathetic to not stand behind their products- and no manufacturer warranty either!! Consumer beware.
