Nothing return item consumer pay shipping. Be careful of what you buy do not take picture of item as a sign of what you think your getting. Read description before purchasing.
Looking for patio chairs, found this patio set online: 2 chairs and a table. Cost was approximately $800, a good deal.
Under item description, it states item 1, which I thought meant 1 set: 2 chairs and a table, but it really means 1 chair. So I want to return the item, but Bed Bath wants me to pay for shipping: $100 plus.

I tried to order kitchen faucets which were supposed to be shipped within 5 days. Delay, delay, delay. You cannot get in touch with customer service but they do not answer the phone, the chat is no help, and text messaging took over 2 hours with no resolution to my issue.

Ordered a very expensive vanity from Bed Bath and Beyond. Not only was it late, but when we opened the box it was broken.
Trying to talk to them is the most difficult thing unless you have hours to pursue them. They are not customer-oriented and seem to not care. I would say one thing, and that is buyer beware!!!

I was sent a this item even though I cancelled it an hour after ordering and then I was told that I would have to pay for the return shipping. Even though I had an email confirmation on the cancellation.
I have called, chatted, emailed, screenshot and nobody will resolve this issue. NO ONE WILL LISTEN. There is absolutely no common sense in this situation. Ive been coerced, disrespected and held captiveIve been told that if I join something for $25, then theyll send me a label.
Ive been told that they would give me a discount on the label. Why would I pay to return something that I canceled? They have left me on hold for hours and then hung up on. This is absolutely the worst shopping experience ever, bed Bath and beyond sucks and if youre reading this review, and considering shopping with them, DONT DO IT.
RUN for the retail hills. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Theyre doing everything possible to force me to pay for something I cancelled, shipped it to me regardless of cancelling the item and are now refusing to give me a prepaid shipping label to return it. Unbelievable.

Both of the chairs I received squeak. One more than the other.
I sent customer service two videos showing the problem.
They have agreed to pay to ship one of the chairs, but not the other. I bought 2 chairs for me and my husband and they do not have replacements.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund. they final send me the label for shipping.
Although they did still charge for the shipping label. The customer service via call/impossible/ online return/differ than CSR/ response from BBB unreliable & but after writing to PIssed Consumers & social network. apparently they read the Social as per your email, stating they never responded. I did let Pissed Consumer the update.

found address of new company who purchased BBB, wrote on all areas Pissed Consumer provided. But it was the direct email to Upper management to BBB.
Well apparently some one read this. As I got several apologies in email along with the process to returnI responded to Pissed Consumer email with the update.BBB send me the return label & I had already dropped it off at USP.
Once it is received, they will credit my card minus $25.16 for the label.
All is good but I still will not order through their Website. Not until they new company fixes the Support feature.

Received email stating the rug can not be canceled .it will ship although it had not been processed to be shipped yet. So pdt arrived, I went on line to return, found out they charge 25.16 for shipping label.
I was unaware but did get a refund amt minus the 25.16. but I didn't submit as I was not aware of being charged. Called again this time 240 min wait. Rep told me I could ship it myself & gave me the return address & RMA #.
I did tell her I was NOT SURE would ship it myself because I wanted to check on price. Plus. she told me for p/u the charge w/79.90 extra although the on line process does not give an option to drop off..so confused. I asked her to send me her link that shows drop off..
it was the same as the online process..So I decided to pay for the shipping label. I went online but could not get a shipping label as she put in the return stating she gave me the return & RMA # & said I was shipping my self. This time i wrote to Customer Service Care..same thing..long email saying they would send the label with p/u but would charge me 79.90 for p/u..I replied to their email & told them I DO NOT WANT PICKUP & PLEASE SEND ME SHIPPING LABEL.. NO RESPONSE .That was the last email I received (8/29)..this has be going on since 8/22/25.

I called Bed Bath and Beyond to cancel an order that is not in transit, and they refuse to cancel the order. Prior to this order, Bed Bath and Beyond cancelled an order that was in transit because they said they could not verify our information.
We have changed our living situation, so we no longer have to carry my aged mother downstairs. We will not be living at the home and cannot guarantee that we will be available for the package. The order now indicates that the product has not left the warehouse.
Why would we not be able to cancel before transit? Please explain this since the previous order was cancelled in transit.

Absolutely horrible customer service
BUYER BEWARE. I ordered a queen size mattress that was NOT a queen size mattress.
I spoke with customer service and sent them pictures of the measurements 76x57 and they accepted the return. They said I had to wait until the item arrived back at the warehouse for my refund process to begin. I wasnt happy with that as I felt once the item was scanned and out of my control, the refund process should begin.
Regardless, I unhappily moved on and today UPS showed to collect my mattress and they will not take it because it cannot be put back into the packaging. They person said this happens all the time and they need to figure it out
I tried to call customer service again and after waiting 35 mins for a representative, she conveniently couldnt hear me and ended the call
This place SUCKS beyond belief and people should be aware of this and spend their hard earned money elsewhere!

Never buy anything from them. Bed bath and beyond is a now overstock company and their return policy is horrible. They will place you on hold for hours.
They emailed me, said my purchase was canceled because they need more information. When I called to confirm, they said the system pushed through the purchase, so now the product is in the warehouse ready to ship out.
I told them I don't want the product anymore, and they put me on hold for one hour.
Bed Bath & Beyond sucks; this is why they closed their business. Avoid them; they are worse than scammers.

I will never use online service again. I ordered on Wayfair site but it turned out to be Bed Bath Beyond.
They dropped bedframe at the door. I had to struggle to wrestle the heavy box inside.
